We interviewed Michael Marquart of A Bad Think below. He talks about how he recorded his second album when “I built a small, kinda private studio in my house,” making the process completely DIY. He also talked about trying to “be better” than his first record–he’d set the bar high, and he didn’t want to go below it. ““It was frustrating for a while,” he says, adding that his fear delayed the creative process of making the album.
But eventually he says he got his act together, and was very pleased with the outcome, adding that you should listen to it in full, one song after the other, as it’s “a three-dimensional experience.” View the interview below:
