Tye Banks wrote a tribute song for the Carolina Hurricanes–and is now being sued by them.
The team claims Banks misued their trademarks by labeling his video “official” and wearing a team jersey in it. Banks, on the other hand, says after being warned by the team, he placed disclaimers on his Web site. He also thinks he should be compensated, since the team did play his song during some games.
