The lifestyle that was once considered bizarre (wearing masks in public, working from home everyday, and grocery stores ransacked as if it were doomsday) is seemingly the standard for all of us now due to COVID-19. Thankfully, the music industry had a pretty quick turnaround with the distress and abrupt cancellations of concerts and festivals. In fact, it’s impressive how quick they were to respond and adapt with online concerts and streaming fundraisers. Seeing all of our favorite musicians take part in these musical variations is reassuring and shines a bit of light during these lonely days.
Our very own clients The Dead Daisies – a longtime member of the HIP family – will be playing an extremely special set this Saturday, June 6th on the Taste of Syracuse Festival. The hard rock collective is already known for their fierce common grooves and personal voices, but from the comfort of your couch, stripped back versions and soulful renditions of their music and classic rockers will permeate your screens. Tune in (https://www.facebook.com/TasteOfSyracuse/) at 7:40 PM EST to catch Glenn, Doug, and David bring their community together through some much-needed rock n’ roll.
Till then, check out their newest video for “Unspoken.”
