Starting February, the A.K.As are really going to be everywhere. Touring with the likes of Foxy Shazam and Dr. Manhattan, these guys are hitting up Virginia, Georgia, Arkansas, Kentucky, Texas, Ohio, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri…etc. Check out MySpace to see if they’re hitting up your town.
The A.K.As are masters of mixing the punk aesthetic with vintage 80s dance-rock. You can hear strains of both The Ramones and The Talking Heads in this band’s concoctions.
