Tesla is a legend.
Although they were born during the heyday of glam bands in the late 80s, bands such as Poison and Mötley Crüe, Tesla distinguished themselves from the glam acts by wearing blue jeans and playing stripped down, raw rock, as opposed to their contemporaries (flashy makeup, eewy pants that were not easy on the eyes, synthesizers.) They weren’t about being theatrical–they were just interested in the music. As of 2008, they’ve sold over 16 million records–their nonchalant approach to old-school hard rock gained them tons of fans.
