PREMIERE: The HIP Spotlight w/ Jesse Medeles

Singer-songwriter, dancer, rapper, and actor, Jesse Medeles is expected to become a force to reckon with in the Latin music industry. Having built a strong fan base performing in front of more than half a million people to date, the fast-rising artist recently released his debut single/music video, “SUCIA.”

Jesse’s musical style is a fusion of different cultures; stemming from growing up in the streets of Laredo, TX and drawing influences from Pop, Rap, Cumbia, Indian rhythms, Tejano, and more. Jesse’s big break came when he moved to Los Angeles, CA in 2013 to pursue his dreams and set out on this new phase of his burgeoning career alongside his management team, Dessennium Entertainment and celebrity producer, J2; the man behind songs like Shakira’s FIFA World Cup song “La La La.” This team has put their heads together to produce what might be the hottest Latin anthem this generation has seen.

A few weeks ago we met up with Jesse in Los Angeles to discuss how he got to where he is today, the importance of music and of course his hot new single, “SUCIA.”
