To create their own unique brand of music, No Age reached back to the beginnings of punk rock, looking to The Ramones as inspiration. Mixing fun, poppy beats with the touch of aggressiveness and witty lyricism of the Ramones, as well as the ingenious recording style of My Bloody Valentine–No Age seeks to find it’s own brand of punk rock. Considering that their first album Nouns, released on Sub Pop in 2008, received a 9.2 rating on Pitchfork, I’d say that they found their own unique mix.
