As someone who has worked in music video promotion for nearly 20 years, I want to share with you the biggest question I am asked here at HIP: how do I get my music video on MTV? Well, ladies and gentlemen, attaching the brand of your artistry to an international brand like MTV is not easy.

You can look online, and they’re going to direct you to a company called DMDS- Digital Music Delivery Service. They’re in Canada, and they are expensive. Why pay them a large sum of money to have your new music video close-captioned, quality checked, and then submitted through their portal to MTV, mtvU, MTV’s Pluto channels? All kinds of opportunities are there, but if it’s wildly expensive, you’re much better finding a different alternative.

We can offer up the same opportunity to have your video seen on MTV at a much lower cost. Yes, we’ll do the quality control. We will also do the close-captioning.
