HIP Spotlight: 2Dee

Last month, we kicked off a campaign with Newark, NJ-based rapper 2Dee to promote his music video for “Say Less.” 2Dee is just one of many talented artists coming out of New Jersey although he was actually born in Haiti. We were stoked to meet up with him to film a HIP Spotlight video interview. Here, he talks about the real-life inspiration of the song, self-producing it, drawing musical inspiration from being Haitian, and the real-life monsters that minorities often have to face.
