The smart, resonant clip for “Forever Man” was directed by Morgan Elliott, and it’s an exercise in time travel, showing a photo book sprung to life.

California native and lifelong singer-songwriter Gil Karson has opened for The Byrds, Jefferson Airplane, Steppenwolf, and The Rascals. Roots/blues/country rockers Gil Karson & The Karson City Rebels are working on their first album, and have now released their debut single, the patriotic Americana song, “Freedom Guaranteed.” Gil Karson himself directed the video, which features the man and the Rebels rocking out, spliced with footage of soldiers and veterans.
