The root of Jamestown Revival is a friendship spanning over a decade. HIP Video Promo is delighted to introduce the new clip “California (Cast Iron Soul),” a tune that will take your breath away with vivid scenery and raw emotion.

From a young age, this duo shared a love for music as well as the outdoors. Influences including Creedence Clearwater Revival, Willie Nelson, The Everly Brothers, and Guy Clark molded the basis of Jamestown Revival’s style. Deeply rooted in strong harmonies, the pair merges sounds of classic American rock blended with Southern and Western rock.

Moving from their thousand-acre scenic land in Austin, TX, Jamestown Revival headed west and landed in LA. In twelve months, they wrote their first full-length album and recorded their telling songs in a log cabin in Utah. The California EP recently hit the number three spot on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart and performed on Conan in early January. They’re on the fast track to massive recognition, and for good reason, few bands have captured the earnestness and genuine love of music like these two stellar artists. From the debut album Utah, Jamestown Revival presents the clip “California (Cast Iron Soul).”

Director Paul Pryor takes us on a landscape of dreams in this riveting clip in this fly by the seat of your pants music video. The scenes are rich with calm oceans and tales of Jamestown Revival’s travels. Taking us through beautiful sights and calming emotions are merely an undertone to the grasping harmonies of the band.
