Gary Numan’s signature sound consists of heavy synthesizer hooks and is considered a pioneer of commercial electronic music. HIP Video Promo is pleased to introduce the dark and haunting clip, “Love Hurt Bleed.”
This iconic musician is most widely known for chart-topping 1979 hits “Are Friends Electric?” and “Cars.” He achieved his peak of mainstream popularity in the late 70s and early 80s as front man, writer and producer for Tubeway Army, but continues to maintain a cult following. Gary Numan’s inspirational style is unique and has motivated countless musicians.
As a special holiday present for his fans, Gary gave away a free remix of his single “Love Hurt Bleed” by Justin Warfield of She Wants Revenge. Gearing up for tour, Gary will be promoting his Splinter album to North America and Europe this year with a full US and Canadian tour in March and April. Numan will be joined by special guests Big Black Delta and Roman Remains for what promises to be one of the most endearing tours of the year.
From the highly acclaimed album Splinter comes the hauntingly deliverable clip “Love Hurt Bleed.” Numan takes on a trance-like appearance as viewers are lured into the captivating scenes. The clip takes us to a world rich with fantasy and provocation, with a twist of horrific images of course. But rather than afraid we find ourselves intrigued by truthful and awe-inspiring lyrics, such as “Everything bleeds.”
Breaking the norm and introducing dark and fantastical ideas is the unique way that Gary Numan expresses himself as an artist. “Love Hurt Bleed” is a representation of his classic and stylistic endeavors he pursues.
