Texas is a state known for producing everything in an abundant and audacious “Texas-sized” style, and Coline Creuzot, the Houston native, is no exception. Coline is a forthcoming singer and songwriter who has collaborated with the music industries heavyweights by creating her own musical pathway, and is leaving a heavy imprint within the soil of the music scene. Coline’s music, which is organically written by herself, is a blend of R&B, Soul, and today’s Pop, and her inspiration derives from artists such as Sam Cooke, Donny Hathaway, Aaliyah, Brandy, Tamia, and Beyonce.

The harmony between her music and inspirations consummates every lyric and melody that is born out of her personal experiences and life learned lessons. Coline has toured with Solange Knowles as her as a back-up singer and dancer doing spot dates, and recently appeared in Solange Knowles video for “I Decided”. Her first mix-tape, “Head Turner,” is hosted and by Paul Wall, and the second mix-tape, Diamond in the Rough,” includes features from Slim Thug, Paul Wall, DJ Khaled, DJ Drama, Solange Knowles, Chamillionaire, in addition to other various artists. She also recently signed a publishing deal with Sony ATV!

In addition to touring and recording, Coline has opened shows for hit makers including T-Pain, Drake, Paul Wall, Sammie, J.Holiday, David Banner, Bun B, T.I, and Carl Thomas. And an opening spot for Keyshia Cole in NYC is probably her biggest feat on the road. She has been recently featured in the print and online publications of Houston Press, Concreteloop.com, ClutchMagazine.com, Singersroom.com, HoneyMag.com, in addition to a list of radio shows including SiriusXM Shade 45 with Angela Yee.

All of this may seem like a lot to digest, but it’s easy to understand once you’ve laid your eyes on the new video for “Acapella Now”. The song serves as a classy and definitive send off to a former flame, although it’s not afraid to admit that sometimes breaking up can be hard. We see various scenes of Coline in past situations that all contribute to her heartache, whether it be controlling behavior or ignorance. Her ex can see his ways were wrong and that he screwed up a good thing, but it’s too late because Coline has moved on, and in her own words is “accapella now”. She’s too strong of a woman to let herself be a victim, and it’s a positive message for women everywhere!
