HIP Video Promo is pleased to once again be working with one of the most captivating indie-rock bands of today, The Capsules. Earlier this year we brought you two of their ambitious clips, “Across The Sky” and “Our Apocalypse”, both of which showcased the band’s modern ambient elements reminiscent of artists ranging from Metric to Depeche Mode. Hot on the heels of those new clips we are excited to bring you the widely anticipated new video for “Time Will Only Tell”.

Julie Shields, front-woman and singer/guitarist, holds comforting notes as the melodic undertones of Jason Shield’s bass guitar keep the songs deceptively simply. However, the tunes are quite the opposite. Dangerously mysterious, The Capsules ignite new wave elements that deliver pleasure through their unique capability to present eccentric music.

They have shared the stage with some great musical acts such as Garbage, Mercury Rev, Low, and The Flaming Lips. Their music has been featured in the PBS television show Roadtrip Nation and in video games including Borderlands 2. Elements of sleepless nights, pensive writing, and late night dreams are what make up the subject matter of songs from Northern Lights & Southern Skies. Containing less guitars and more keyboards, loops, and electronics, this album has gained the band high praise, especially with the upcoming video clip “Time Will Only Tell.”

Once again we are soaring through a vast universe of lights in The Capsules’ latest video. Darkness transcends light in this endearing musical clip, giving the band an essence of character and extreme thoughtfulness. Reminiscent of 80s pop and 90s retro, “Time Will Only Tell” fuses dream pop with contemporary indie-rock music. The Capsules bring with them a tune that tells the story about the “half forgotten memories that pass through the space between reality and whimsy.” Truly an adventurous song, the video clip will captivate and mesmerize its audience.
