Ok, so this picture’s obviously not from CMJ Music Marathon 2008. But, to be fair, Johnny Rotten spoke at the marathon once in the 80s, baring his famous bad teeth and making odd arm gesticulations.
At any rate, CMJ Music’s Music Marathon is taking place in New York City next week, from Oct. 21-25. Check out the music and panel schedule here. Some notable attendees include our very own Andy Gesner, as an industry insider to the online music video business–he’s speaking at 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 24 at Room 401 of the Eisner & Lubin Auditorium. Our client, guitar extraordinaire and Ugly Betty love interest Val Emmich, is also coming out for the panel.
Other notables coming to speak at various discussions include George Clinton, producer and rapper from the Wu-Tang Clan, Shavo Odadjian, the bassist from System of a Down, Bejamin Wagner, the vice president of MTV News and others.
