Max Morgan is a soulful lyricist who is in-tune with the human psyche. His songs are jam-packed with emotional intensity, that affect you deep at the core.
That’s why listening to him can be as therapeutic as a pint of Ben and Jerry’s and a good cry.
In the song “Wait For Me,” Max Morgan bangs on the piano and belts out one of the saddest songs this year.
“I’ve been living a lie, pretending
I’m stronger, need a stone to crawl under
Now I wanna be there, close where you stand,
ya I need a revival.”
In addition to the original, Morgan did a low-key version with an acoustic guitar and a pair of sunglasses. And a fabulous coat.
