Grizzly Bear created a hypnotic, enthralling song–titled “Two Weeks”–which sounds like a folky tune recorded in a formal church with high ceilings. There seems to be two themes going on–one that’s more playful and one that is as as stiff as choir singing.
Their video brings this aspect of the song to life. It appears to be set in a big church with stained-glass windows, yet it’s completely whacked-out and whimsical. The band members look like creepy dolls as they chant the lyrics–kind of like possessed choir boys. Check it out below.
