Livan, on MySpace, compares his music to the phoenix rising from the ashes. As a young adult, he struggled with drug addiction and gambling. He “found himself in prison,” and later “addicted to heroin, dying slowly in the ghettos of Athens and London.”
But a wake-up call occurred just in time. One day, he says he realized that this couldn’t be the end–and he didn’t want it to be.
Since then, he’s come back from the brink–and started creating music. He’d always wanted to be a musician–now he’s living the dream.
His music is David-Bowie style art punk, combined with glittering electronics, and gothic undertones.
