PIXIES have maintained relevance throughout their career with their distinctive blend of surrealism, gritty guitars, unconventional solos, and pop hooks. After breaking through in the 80s with their extraordinary rock sound, they disbanded in 1993 but continued to influence future generations. Their 2014 reunion made headlines worldwide. The band released four studio albums before their breakup and three more after reuniting, most recently Beneath the Eyrie.
We promoted “Greens and Blues” in March 2014, showcasing their still-sharp songwriting filled with earthly landscapes, sci-fi elements, cosmic surrealism, and oceanic imagery.
Later that year in September, we worked on “Ring the Bell”, a video exploring nostalgia and intergenerational connection as characters raid an abandoned building for toys and demonstrate in a woodland sanctuary that fun transcends eras.
PIXIES recently released an album with new videos, including “On Graveyard Hill” – perfect for Halloween. It features a 60s-era groupie who becomes possessed after visiting a psychic shop. The video blends flower power innocence with psychedelic terror, featuring frontman Black Francis in modern Ray-Bans, reinforcing PIXIES’ influence in alternative rock.
