Moby is known for his ability to think and step outside box of ordinary and still deliver a quality product. This kind of thinking has won him awards and fame. He does it again with his new video for “One Time We Lived.” He hired director Mark Pellington and asked that the only condition he had to worry about when making this video was that it was artistic and personal, without impeding any limits of television broadcast or some sort of base idea. What he got in return was an emotional short film that played along perfectly with the song, which was recorded right in Moby’s bedroom. Here is proof that big name artists can still create completely organic work that doesn’t involve dozens of phone calls regarding the budget.
