Rhode Island native, current Charlotte NC resident and lifelong rock electric accordionist Joe L. Murgo began his songwriting journey with “Liberty Rising”, an emotional 9-11 anthem described by the Tunnel to Towers Foundation as “extraordinarily thoughtful” and “amazing!”  Since then, Joe has composeddozens of all-original songs, many which can be heard on www.joelmurgomusic.com and on major streaming platforms. An accomplished keyboardist in his own right, Joe does not perform in front of live audiences, except at his home for friends and family after indulging in multiple bottles of wine!

Plus many folks north of 30 want songs with more memorable melodies, hooks and lyrical substance.”
