Goldfrapp knows just how to stay on people’s radar. The band’s fifth album, Head First, came out in late March and has been making its mark on the Billboard charts, peaking at No. 4 for Dance/Electronic Albums and Independent Albums.
With Head First, Goldfrapp has instilled their music in a ton of new fans — including Christina Aguilera. The pop sensation recently confirmed the news that she recruited Goldfrapp to collaborate on her new album, Bionic, out June 8. Regarding how the collaboration took place, Aguilera said, “I just approached the whole meeting process by telling them, ‘I’m a huge fan of yours. I would love to collaborate and work together and step a little into your world — or a lot into your world — and see what you’re all about.”
