Over the years, we’ve had the pleasure of meeting up with some of our cherished clients to film a video interview that helps viewers get to know the artist as well as learn more about their new music video. Previously called “The HIP Clip”, these videos allow us to help connect artists with the world, as we give some insight and inside information into who they are and the music and videos they make.
It’s been over a decade since legendary hard-rocker Sebastian Bach released the “(Love Is) A Bitchslap” music video at the start of 2008. First known to the world as the frontman of Skid Row through the ’80s and ’90s, he released his debut solo album in 1999. In 2000, he began performing in Broadway productions, landing roles in Jekyll & Hyde and The Rocky Horror Show. His next album, Angel Down, wasn’t released till 2007.
“(Love Is) A Bitchslap” came as the lead single from Angel Down, and shortly after we met up with Sebastian to film a HIP Clip video interview. Here, he talks about Angel Down and the creation of the video!
