“Upper Hand” Music Video: Bblasian (Hip-hop)

Cinematic Music Group always brings us the biggest stars and up-and-comers, so it’s no surprise that the tastemakers at Lyrical Lemonade have already praised Bblasian’s new single “Upper Hand.” GXDLIKETCLA’s clip for “Upper Hand” is a candid look at a day in the life of a young creator coming into consciousness – and full possession – of the power he has to alter his surroundings with the music he makes.

“Donna” Music Video: The Inoculated Canaries (Rock)

What makes The Inoculated Canaries special? Simply put, the New York-based group know how to write a damn good song. In the “Donna” clip, the real action comes from our leading lady, who teases each member of the band in succession, before turning her attention (and her heavy machinery) to the unlikeliest target.

“Give It All Up” Music Video: viseMènn (Indie-rock)

From the forests of Southern Norway, viseMènn first grabbed attention on both sides of the Atlantic with their single “Begging You Please.” The “Give It All Up Tonight” clip, which is self-directed, sees the band lost in performance… until a flame ignites in the room.

“Type of Guy” Music Video: James Cole (Pop)

James Cole – who graduated from the Howard W. Blake School of the Arts in Tampa, and now attends Belmont University – has the presence of a singer twice his age. He’s just as ready for the spotlight as he is for young love – but in the “Type of Guy” clip (directed by Spencer Bradham), we learn that finding the woman who will win his heart isn’t such an easy task.

“It Might Get Sweaty” Music Video: Terry Robb (Bluegrass/country)

Terry Robb is a musician so accomplished, the Cascade Blues Association named their Best Acoustic Guitar award after him. In his multi-decade career, he’s released fifteen albums, been praised by the likes of Rolling Stone and Vintage Guitar, toured with Buddy Guy, Steve Miller, and John Fahey, appeared on Late Night With Conan O’Brien, strummed and picked for the crowd at the Rose Garden before a Portland Trail Blazers game, and collaborated with the Oregon Symphony. “It Might Get Sweaty” is the newest single from his album Confessin’ My Dues; in the song’s clip, he’s right at home in a recording studio, performing an appropriately titled instrumental workout.

“Teddy Massacre” Music Video: Yearwood (Hip-hop)

After excelling in his studies at Harvard and Wharton, and spending 11 years working in finance, it was an unintended spell between jobs that lead Yearwood to dive into music headfirst. He’s now released his debut mixtape, 45 8th Street, Barataria, as the anchor of his own entertainment company, Mission Road Entertainment. Directed by Cowin Thorpe, the “Teddy Massacre” video is a ride-along video through the DUMBO neighborhood of Brooklyn – and here, Yearwood is the life of the party.
