From New York City to her current home in Israel, Adina E is a musical visionary with a clear sight. It wasn’t till she was in her mid-40s that she dove into the music industry, and after the release of her self-titled album in 2016 she’s hard at work with longtime collaborative producer Luis Lahav on its follow-up.
This summer, Adina E stopped by HIP HQ, where we were able to film this HIP Spotlight with her. In the interview, she talked about the writing of “I Coudn’t Help Myself”, looking back on life, and the making of the animated video.
