They walk around with cardboard television sets on their heads in order to pass forth the idea that material objects should simply not be taken so seriously. The televisions stand for a metaphor, which screams the definition of the television era. The catchy lyrics and the mellow, yet unique, beats of the song pull you from all sides and give more meaning to the idea that life is short. The Green Seed entertains more important values in life, such as life itself. The song carries this constant theme from beginning to end, and you will find yourself in utter contemplation from the issues at hand.
