Hey everybody! It’s Andy Gesner and the rest of the HIP Video Promo staff serving up a clip that’s sure to get you up off your seat. It comes courtesy of Amanda Morra, a Toronto-based pop diva-in-the-making who we’ve worked with before. Last fall, she brought us the scintillating video for “1 And Only.” She’s teamed up with the same director, Cazhhmere, to prove that she’s still got a lot to show for herself, and she’ll grab your attention like you wouldn’t believe in her brand new video for “Kisses.”

It’s no secret that Amanda Morra’s got her sexuality working for her, and she plays this up to the fullest in her “Kisses” video. If the outfits Amanda Morra and her friends are sporting aren’t enough of a warning for what’s in store, then her repeating the lyrics “I want you kissing me” over and over will surely entice you. What you’ve got is Amanda Morra and her scantily clad crew performing a private show for her intimate, all-male audience. The spotlight’s on her as she dances choreography reminiscent of a burlesque show. Amanda Morra and her girls move the performance from the stage to the bar and eventually join their male counterparts for an all-out, hands-on dance frenzy. Sure, the video is pretty shameless, but when it cuts to Amanda Morra and her guy alone, you’ll see she’s got seduction down to an art form.

To say that the video for “Kisses” is just as – if not more – provocative than the song itself is beyond an understatement. But Amanda Morra has the confidence to play to the camera the way that she wants and the talent to back it all up. She’s armed with a strong set of pipes and moves that are constantly on-point thanks to her being classically trained in both. It’s no wonder she’s merged both worlds so seamlessly to make for some pretty infections pop dance.

Amanda Morra’s singalong hooks and upbeat R&B flair are just what got her nominated in 2009’s New Music Awards. She was recognized by New Music Weekly as a Top 40 Breakthrough Artist and for having a Top 40 Single (a la “1 And Only”), where she went up against the current dominators of pop, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift. This alone tells you she’s got the talent to go up against the best, and she’ll further be instilling that idea when she releases her yet-to-be-titled second album later this year.
